  Thought I would let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the end of June. Very modern in design and amenities, and private - exactly what I wanted. The weather for the three days was magnificent, and really demonstrated the passive heating qualities of the house.

  The effect during a full moon must be very special. To sit by the open fire with a bottle or three of local red and stare at the flames was wonderful. It's a very primal thing that not many of us city folk get to do these days. The party piece is the coloured LED lights in the floor throughout, especially in the main bathroom. Quite a surreal experience. But for me the highlight was seeing the Southern Cross track slowly across the night sky from the bedroom window. So many stars. Little details make a big difference.

  The last night was clear but very windy and reminded me why it's called the Shipwreck Coast down that way. And to think it was either this or a cramped hotel room in Melbourne. All up a great little find and a very relaxing getaway, though as always with these sorts of things, far too brief.
